Byron Donalds’ wife decries ‘racist attacks’ from the left: ‘Cry harder, haters’

By Houston Keene

Florida Republican Rep. Byron Donalds’ wife decried the “racist attacks” she and her husband endure from the left, telling the “haters” to “cry harder.”

Erika Donalds, who is White, tweeted screenshots of online users attacking her over her skin color on Wednesday, pushing back on the racially-motivated online attacks over her marriage to a Black Republican lawmaker.

“Byron and I have been together for 23+ years, and the most racist attacks we experience are always from the left,” she wrote.

“They can’t accept that a free thinking black man achieves success on his own merits, and they sure as heck can’t stand that he’s married to me!” Donalds continued. “Cry harder, haters.” (Continue Reading)

Elon Musk: ‘I recommend voting for a Republican Congress’

By Anders Hagstrom | Fox News

Billionaire Twitter CEO Elon Musk endorsed Republicans for the midterm election cycle on Monday, telling voters to cast ballots for a Republican Congress.

Musk’s announcement comes months after he first announced plans to vote Republican earlier this year. He argued Monday that having a government split between two parties is ideal, and noted President Biden’s possession of the White House for Democrats before saying Congress should go to Repubilicans.

“To independent-minded voters: Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic,” Musk wrote.

Musk’s endorsement follows through on his vow to vote Republican in May.

‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star John Schneider explains why Hollywood won’t make patriotic films: ‘You have the power’

‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star John Schneider explains why Hollywood won’t make patriotic films
The actor is starring in a new film titled ‘To Die For,’ which he said has been resonating with veterans feeling overlooked in America.

John Schneider refuses to back down.

The actor, who famously played Bo Duke in the hit sitcom “Dukes of Hazzard,” is starring in a new patriotic film titled “To Die For,” which was directed and produced independently without major studio backing.

The storyline follows reclusive veteran Quint North (Schneider), who takes a public stand for his personal freedoms after receiving a court order to keep his American flag-flying El Camino truck away from a local high school. The 62-year-old told Fox News Digital the film defends patriotism, freedom of speech and the American flag.

“I had been made aware of an article where a man had been put in jail because he refused to take the flag off the back of his truck,” said Schneider. “I read the article, and it said he had a restraining order against him, so he couldn’t drive within a certain distance from the [local] high school with the flag on his truck… [My wife and I] are big supporters of our military and our law enforcement. And I thought, now is the time to make a movie about this guy. I don’t know about you, but as I drive around the country, I see more and more people with the American flag flying from the back of… their pickup trucks.”

‘DUKES OF HAZZARD’ STAR JOHN SCHNEIDER ON GENERAL LEE, CANCEL CULTURE: ‘WE DON’T BELONG IN THAT COUNTRY CLUB’

“I wanted to make a movie not about that individual guy, but that kind of guy who is willing to go to jail in order to continue to express his First Amendment right of free speech,” Schneider continued. “The second notion was this movie has got to come out before the midterm elections in 2022… so that it will urge people who are, for some reason, timid or quiet to speak their mind… No matter what, the movie had to come out on Oct. 20 to give enough lead time so that people could see it before voting in November.”

Schneider, a proud conservative and Trump supporter, shared that the film has already made a bold statement among viewers.

“A friend of mine said all the right people are aggravated,” he chuckled. “But all the right people are also encouraged and enthused and invigorated by it. So as we say in the car business, ‘It’s firing on all eight.’”

According to the star, “To Die For” was made with a crew of under 10 people over the last 10 months. He also never approached Hollywood directors with the script.

FIRST ON FOX: Crist claims he’s ‘trustworthy’ after his former staff, colleagues endorse DeSantis

Fox News Digital spoke with Crist following his heated debate with DeSantis

By Brandon Gillespie , Andrew Murray | Fox News

Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist on Tuesday described himself as “a trustworthy person” despite a number of his former staffers and colleagues announcing they would be supporting his opponent, incumbent Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, for re-election.

In an interview with Fox News Digital just one day following his fiery debate with DeSantis, the former Republican governor pushed back on the notion that he was untrustworthy for changing his political party affiliation multiple times, arguing that the GOP had left him rather than the other way around.

Crist was a Republican until 2010 before unsuccessfully running for Senate that year as an independent, and then ultimately winning election to Congress in 2016 as a Democrat. He resigned his congressional seat in August after winning the Democratic gubernatorial primary.

“I am a trustworthy person. I follow my heart,” Crist told Fox when asked if his shifting alliances were evidence of political opportunism.

“I did change political parties, because my party left me. I didn’t leave it. It started with the rise of the Tea Party, and then it metastasized under Trump, and here’s where we are today, where you got people who are denying elections getting nominated by the Republican Party for offices all over America. It’s a mess,” he added.

In a letter released Tuesday, a number of Crist’s former staffers and colleagues, including his ex-chief of staff George LeMieux and his former lieutenant governor, Jeff Kottkamp, wrote that DeSantis was the “clear” choice for governor.

“The undersigned represent former colleagues and staff of Charlie Crist. Together, we have known Charlie in virtually all phases of his career and public life,” the letter read.

“The choice this November could not be more clear: we unanimously endorse Governor Ron DeSantis for re-election,” it read.

“Governor DeSantis has delivered for Florida. He has led our state with courage and conviction. He has demonstrated his ability to lead us through difficult times. We stand with Governor DeSantis because the stakes are too high,” it added.

OPEN LETTER TO THE RADICAL LIBS

by Carrie K. Hutchens

Dear Radical Lib,

You annoy me and that is saying it politely and mildly. Actually, in truth, you spend a great deal of time making me furious and regretting that I saw or heard what you falsely claim. You see, I have no tolerance for gaslighters or indoctrinated puppets that are so vicious and willing to spread lies about others. BAMN is not a righteous cause. It is anything but. And if you have difficulty comprehending that to be true, perhaps you should spend some time asking yourself how you would feel if someone disagreed with you and, for no other reason than disagreeing, decided they should destroy you by any means necessary. Yes, ask yourself how you would feel if you were wrongly on the other end of it all? And while you ask yourself that question, don’t be smug and think it can’t ever happen to you, because… actually… it could.

I have come to not like a great many people, but I would NEVER lie about any of them. Nor would I stand by and let a lie about them pass, if I knew about it and had chance (means) to respond and set the record straight. That’s how it should be. A disagreement should never be won by lie and neither should an election, court case or any other situation.

Truth and honor should matter to everyone, including the radical lib, but it doesn’t seem to.

Likewise, truth and honor should definitely matter to the media that was once anointed as a special, and honored, group entrusted to hold the government accountable. However, that concept has become a joke as it – the MSM – appears to be little more than a propaganda mill for the Democrats and radical libs.

What a shame when such trusted groups become the distrusted.

To say the very least, I’m tired of the liars and especially tired of the liars calling the truth-tellers liars and trying to wrongly destroy them. It’s old. It’s time it is stopped. It’s time you, the radical libs, are held accountable for your wrongful behavior. With that said, I don’t believe you should be held accountable in a wrongful manner. I don’t suggest you should be doxxed or be cancelled or lied about to get back at you for what you have done. On the contrary, I suggest that only the truth be used to identify your wrongs and that you are treated justly.

It’s more than you have given others, but what should be given to all, including you.

May today be the day you wake up and take steps to be the honorable person you have the ability to become.

Sincerely,
Carrie

Apartments owned by Warnock’s church evict ‘homeless’ tenants while senator receives hefty housing stipend

By Jon Brown | Fox News

A downtown Atlanta apartment building mostly owned by the church of Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., has reportedly been evicting disadvantaged tenants while the church pays the senator a hefty monthly housing stipend.

Ebenezer Baptist Church, which pays Warnock a sizable $7,417 monthly housing allowance as its senior pastor, is 99% owner of the Columbia Tower at MLK Village, where residents have received eviction notices for owing as little as $25.88 in past-due rent, according to documents obtained by The Washington Free Beacon.

Eight tenants at Columbia Tower, which is also run by Columbia Residential and described as a haven for the “chronically homeless” and those afflicted with “mental disabilities,” have been issued eviction notices since early 2020 for owing an average of $125 in rent.

Five cases were related to rent less than one month late, and two led to court-ordered evictions carried out by the Fulton County Marshal’s Department. Six of them were dismissed, and four remain open.

As a charitable organization, Columbia Tower has paid $77.77 in property taxes during the past seven years and has received more than $15 million in taxpayer-funded assistance since 2005, according to tax records obtained by the Free Beacon.

“They treat me like a piece of s—. They’re not compassionate at all,” one 69-year-old Black resident who is a Vietnam veteran told the Free Beacon. He explained how he was issued an eviction notice last month for $192 in past-due rent. He told the outlet he was almost evicted last year over $179, but he was allowed to stay after he paid an addition $325 in fees.

“It’s disheartening. It’s horrible. It’s actually horrifying,” another resident told the outlet. “We need the help. I understand churches take care of their pastors, but the excess, it’s not good. Not when you have people that need help here.”

The anonymous resident, who also paid hundreds in fees, said she was threatened with eviction after being one day late on her rent. (Click to continue reading)

WaPo gives Sen. Patty Murray ‘Four Pinocchios’ for saying Republicans plan to ‘end’ Social Security, Medicare

By Joseph A. Wulfsohn

The Washington Post handed down four “Pinocchios” to Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., for her claim warning of the “end” Social Security and Medicare if Republicans take control of Congress.

Murray, who is fighting in a tightening reelection battle against GOP challenger Tiffany Smiley, tweeted on Sunday, “Republicans plan to end Social Security and Medicare if they take back the Senate.”

Glenn Kessler, the Post’s fact-checker, characterized Murray’s tweet as a “‘Medicare’ attack” to win over senior voters.

New York AG Trump lawsuit a ‘political hit job’ driven by left’s desire to ‘punish’ him: Bill Barr

By Yael Halon

Former Attorney General Bill Barr dismissed the lawsuit filed by the New York attorney general against former President Donald Trump and his children as a “political hit job,” telling Fox News it is yet another symptom of “Trump derangement syndrome” and the left’s desire to “punish” Trump.

“It’s hard for me not to conclude it’s a political hit job,” Barr said on “America Reports” Wednesday. “This is a woman who campaigned for office promising she was going to go after Trump, which I think is a tremendous abuse of office to go head-hunting and targeting individuals.”

New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit Wednesday morning against Trump and several of his family members as well as associates and businesses, alleging “numerous acts of fraud and misrepresentation” on years worth of financial statements. James said Trump inflated his net worth “by billions of dollars” to secure loans and that he had help from his children Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.

Kathy Hochul, right, and other officials, speaks with members of the media during a news conference near the scene of a shooting at a supermarket, in Buffalo, N.Y., Sunday, May 15, 2022. James requested that the New York Supreme Court permanently bar Trump and his children from serving as officers for any New York corporation, and bar the former president and the Trump Organization from participating in New York commercial real estate acquisitions or applying for loans in the state for five years.

The involvement of the Trump children in the suit “grossly overreaches,” Barr said, calling it further proof of the attorney general’s political motives.

“I’m not even sure she has a good case against Trump himself, but what ultimately persuades me that this is a political hit job is she grossly overreaches when she tries to drag the children into this,” Barr said. “Yes, they had roles in the business, but this was his personal financial statement, prepared by the CFO, accounting firms were involved in it. The children aren’t going to know the details of that, and nor are they expected in the real world to do their own due diligence and have it reviewed independently.” (Click to continue reading)

Martha’s Vineyard residents lament lack of resources, even as island is flush with cash and beds

Martha’s Vineyard, Mass. – Playground of the powerful Martha’s Vineyard lacked the resources to care for the 50 migrants who landed there unexpectedly on Wednesday, local residents told Fox News Digital this weekend.

But real estate data and Massachusetts state resources show otherwise: island towns are flush with cash and plenty of extra beds to help needy people.

Edgartown, for example, boasts $9.8 million in free cash — budget surplus — according to the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. It would have cost only $9.1 million to give all 50 migrants their own room for an entire year at Edgartown’s swanky $500-per-night Harbor View Hotel.  (Click to continue reading)

One Turn: Make the Best of It

by Carrie K. Hutchens

We only have one turn to live our lives here on earth. It’s something I’ve come to think a great deal about, especially when I am dwelling on all my regrets… my mistakes… and all my dreams that will never be because it is too late. And, yes – sometimes it is too late to make dreams come true.

I don’t know when life started slipping by me, but I think I was pretty young. I was always thinking “someday” I will do this or that. “Someday” I hope that I will have a chance to be or to have or to see. Yes, “someday.”

One of my dreams was to go to New York City. That’s never going to happen. I wouldn’t be able to enjoy with all the worry of violent crime that has been transpiring.

I definitely wanted to meet Whoopi Goldberg. That’s before I was stuck in a hospital waiting room with no control over the TV and saw her hatefulness and intolerant political stance on The View. Turns out she was nothing like the person I had imagined her to be. That was indeed a devastating moment.

Bruce Springsteen was another one that let me down. His attitude towards the non-radical liberal burst the bubble of the person I thought he was and gave him one less fan to claim.

Thank goodness that I never wanted to meet Stephen King, cause that man and couldn’t stand to be in the same room with each other more than a second. I know because he has popped up on my Twitter feed more than a few times and it wasn’t pretty. Did you know that he worried about Donald Trump not serving in the military, while not serving either? Well, if he did – I couldn’t find any record of it. Know what I call that? A hypocrite who should stick to writing fiction, rather than trying to create a fiction attitude about someone he disagrees with.

Speaking of Donald Trump…

I’d love to meet President Trump, but that is never going to happen either. Maybe someday he’ll send me a note saying “hi” but I’ll not hold my breath. He’s a busy man fighting to Make America Great Again despite all those that are trying to take him down so he can’t take part in such a wondrous movement that he inspired and worked/is working so hard to make happen.

James Woods is another that didn’t let me down. He used to follow me on Twitter and I actually got to tweet a bit with him. Twitter ended that following, as it did many others for many others.

On a bright note…

I said something to upset Cher. I didn’t know she was reading my tweets, until she jumped me. Well, I had enough, so I blocked her. How dare I. Numerous followers of Cher attacked me for daring to disrespect their queen. She, and they, cared that I – a nobody – blocked her? Okay.

(If you are wondering – yes, I blocked her followers, too.)

Yes, I regret that the New York City I dreamed of visiting no longer exists.

I regret that Whoopi and Bruce are not the people I thought them to be, therefore destroying one more dream. But there is more and it is closer to home.

A screenplay writer/producer/director was in town on personal matters and needed someone to type revisions on a script. I was lucky enough to get the job. And, while I typed – he read some of my work. He liked it. He offered me a job. I’d learn the art of screenplays, making movies and attempt to make his screenplays into novels.

I was excited.

My late husband said, “No.” He said that if I went, I went alone. He told me that he could get custody of the children because it would be a new and unproven job in a state I had no ties to. I believed him. I was young. I was stupid. However, I never got the chance to accept or decline the job offer, because it was made by a man that believed in family. Once he found out that my husband would not agree – the offer was rescinded. It was the last time in my life that I would ever have such a chance.

The rest of my life from then to now has been a series of “maybe someday”… somedays that never came and now never will.

I’ll never be the writer I wished to be. I’ve lost most of what I once had and the world has changed too much to care about what I have to say.

It isn’t just that, though that is reason enough, in my book, for a big pity party.

I’ve spent most of my life stuck in survival mode and effort, with all my dreams always shoved behind the stove, not just on the back burner. There have been a few exceptions. Writing for the Dakota Voice and American Clarion (thanks to Bob Ellis) are among them. I even had chance to briefly be a part of writing a few songs and seeing a singer/musician get his music out there. Then the bulb went out and back to all dreams on hold – this time forever.

I’ve wished I could go back and undo parts of my life and imagined how wondrous things could have been if only I could. But I can’t. Nobody can. We only get one turn, no matter how much we wish for an extra one or a redo. So, my advice is to live a good and unselfish life, but one that remembers you a bit, too. As I said, we only get one turn – make the best of yours. I wish I had.

Starving Patients to Death is Legal in Every State in America

Opinion   |   Bobby Schindler

On June 24th, 2022, the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the legally deficient 1973 ruling that a woman had a “constitutional right” to kill her unborn child.

Much of the credit was given to President Donald Trump for choosing Supreme Court justices who properly interpreted our nation’s Constitution. The pro-life community that devoted their time and resources and resolved to upend the law decriminalizing abortion is also due a significant amount of credit. Now, the battle to protect the unborn shifts to the laws of each individual state.

While this monumental ruling will certainly protect countless unborn babies, there currently exists a thriving Roe vs Wade type law that has a similar goal to end the lives of the medically vulnerable, as Roe did on the unborn. This law redefines feeding tubes, which provide a patient’s food and hydration, from basic and ordinary care to medical treatment and artificial life support.

Essentially, the redefinition of feeding tubes went unnoticed and as a result, it is now legal in all 50 states to either deny or remove a patient’s feeding tube – even against the expressed wishes of the patients – directly causing the patient’s death by dehydration and starvation.

In his book, Culture of Death: The Assault on Medical Ethics in America, author and bioethicist, Wesley J. Smith writes that “defining ‘artificial nutrition’ as treatment instead of human care was a crucial step in the development of the culture of death.”

According to Smith, as far back as the early 1980’s, bioethicists like Daniel Callahan saw the feeding tube as a serious hurdle, openly stating that changing its classification from “basic care” to “medical treatment” would be “the only effective way to make certain that a large number of biologically tenacious patients actually die.”

Eventually, Callahan’s view became widely accepted. This included a 1986 opinion by the American Medical Association (AMA) that listed feeding tubes as medical treatment instead of a basic requirement for life, fundamentally changing the medical definition of receiving food and hydration by feeding tubes. This new meaning invites all kinds of scenarios that can end the lives of patients who either require feeding tubes permanently or temporarily until they can relearn how to eat and drink.

Take for example, the 2005 case of my sister Terri Schiavo, who needed a feeding tube after experiencing a brain injury and having difficulty swallowing. Her guardian and estranged husband, Michael Schiavo, incentivized by his adulterous affair and also monetarily by the close to a million dollars he would inherit upon Terri’s death, invented a story and subsequently lied to a judge, alleging Terri would rather die than live in in a disabled condition.

This revelation surfaced years after Terri’s unexplained brain injury when Michael conveniently remembered Terri’s desire to die just after she received a million dollar malpractice payout that Michael vowed would be used for Terri’s lifelong rehabilitation.

Nonetheless, the judge ruled in his favor and permitted the removal of Terri’s feeding tube, inhumanely starving and dehydrating her to death. A slow and horrific killing that took almost two weeks.

Indeed, Terri’s case alerted the public that feeding tubes can be removed from a family member – even when someone purposely lies and financially benefits from the inhumane and unjust death sentence. However, 17 years after Terri’s death, nothing has changed as dehydrating to death persons like Terri continues every single day.

Even more, this injustice is worsening because the bureaucratic killing apparatus deep-rooted in our healthcare system saves billions of dollars by rationing ongoing care, making it easy and desirable to kill. Not to mention that, unlike the zeal to protect the unborn, there is no urgency or serious effort to protect our medically vulnerable. Bear in mind, all of this was occurring prior to the medical bullying triggered by Covid-19.  (Continue Reading)

On July 4th, I celebrate my remarkable journey which is only possible in America

Two hundred forty six years ago today, the American experiment was born. In our birth certificate, the Declaration of Independence, our Founding Fathers spelled out the fundamental rights given to us all by our Creator. They envisioned a nation built on freedom and fairness.

In the centuries that followed we often failed, but more often succeeded, in our journey toward a “more perfect union.” The resilience embedded in the DNA of America is what has united generations of citizens—people of all backgrounds—to come together to make the founders’ vision a reality.

This is a country that allowed me, the son of a single mom who raised her two Black sons in the South, to become a U.S. Senator representing the home of the Civil War. Where else on Earth is that possible?  (Continue Reading)
