A Socialist? What in the world is wrong with people?

I’m amazed at all the commentary praising Bernie Sanders.  Worse, are those who have thus far voted for him.  What in the world is wrong with people?  Why would anyone want a socialist for President of the United States of America?  Why would anyone wish to live in a socialist country?  Can’t people grasp the reality of what they are supporting and how it would eventually affect them?

A good example of how well socialism works out is Venezuela.  Yet, the socialism champions can’t seem to grasp the devastation and destructive system that is reality and can be verified to be so.  Instead, on they champion as if oblivious to anything that does not match their fairy tale vision of the perfect society with all necessities provided to all people at all times.

Can we say – lack of critical thinking?

Twenty-first century indoctrination?

How can one reach these hateful and sometimes violent zombie-brained warriors before their numbers take the rest of us with them into a nightmarish region of suffering, hopelessness and even the potential of death?

Would a letter work?

Dear Socialist:

Do you truly understand the consequences of your quest?

You think socialism means everyone gets food, housing and medical?

Think further.

There is a loaf of bread.  Everyone gets to share that loaf.  Do you ever consider the “portion” each would then receive?  Have you considered it might not be enough to sustain health or even life?

You seem to forget, in your little illusion of a world without need, that it doesn’t mean everyone gets all that they need, but rather, that there is “less” for all because all is shared.  And… eventually… that “less” moves into “nothing” left to be shared.

That’s right, dear Socialist Warriors – your illusion will become a nightmare of desperation and hopelessness.  It always ends that way.  It’s the only way it can end.  You, no matter what you think, don’t miraculously have a secret plan that will change the outcome.

Pick up a history book or two.

It’s time you learn to live in a world of reality and work towards fixing and making the “workable” better, rather than rushing into an “unworkable” system that is nothing more than a fantasy with a deadly ending.

I, too, have thought of how wonderful it would be to fix all things for all people.  However, I’ve also faced the reality that when one pools money and goods – someone has to be in charge of the gathering and distribution.  This “in charge” person and/or group would decide what the people will get and how much they would get.   It’s how it has to work, if all people are to share all things.

Do you socialist champions really want others to decide how many slices of bread you get for the week?  Or how much electricity you are allowed to use?  Think of all the iPhones & other devices that you would no longer be able to use at will.  Someone else would be in charge of all that.  And, when they say, “no more” – there will be nothing you can do to safely fight the decision.  The government – a select few – will be in charge of every part of your life because you made it so.

You don’t get that, do you?

They indoctrinated you well.

Shake yourself.

Give yourself a chance to think for yourself again.

Think about this…

Those who are indoctrinating you, most likely think they will be among the “ruling” group that will be able to make all decisions for the lowly people such as yourself.  Why else don’t they want you to have necessary information and the ability to explore ideas other than their own?  You must, after all, think as they have told you to think, if you wish to be accepted, rather than shunned and perhaps even viciously bullied.

Do consider my words, if you can.

Could such a letter shake the manipulated out of their stupor of indoctrination?  I’m not holding out any hope of such a lightening strike.

Wrongly perhaps, I often wish we could gather up all the socialist champions and take them to the land of their fantasy, so they can live socialism first hand.  I’m sure it wouldn’t take long before these people – who think they know more than anyone else – would be begging to return to the United States of America and its imperfect capitalism they once wanted to destroy.

Yes, too bad that we can’t give the socialist champions a taste of what they so desperately want, without taking everyone else down the path to a deadly nightmare.

Maybe one day virtual reality will give us a means to do just that without causing harm to any.  In the meantime, we must fight to save ourselves from death by socialism and deadly destruction by those who are fighting to conquer and rule at our expense, not our benefit.

Bernie Sanders may think himself a savior, rather than the power grabber socialist type.  What he thinks and what his intent is matters not.  Once the door is open, and a socialist wins control, the country moves to the conditions and opportunity to become all the bad things of socialism.  It doesn’t take long.  It doesn’t take imagination.  Proof exists.

Look at Venezuela.

People have lost their minds…

mid section view of a woman cutting vegetablesExactly when has the NRA ever promoted gun violence?  (I’m asking for proven incidents, not something made up in the minds of people, who want to get rid of all guns, except those used to protect them.)  Never!

It seems that some people have this intense need to get rid of guns, because guns have been “used” by “some” people to kill or harm.  Though knives have also been “used” by “some” to kill and harm, I haven’t seen the wild and crazy anti-gun fanatics attempt to get rid of their set of pocket or kitchens knives.  They definitely don’t speak ill of the info-commercial hosts and accuse them of promoting violence — yet…  yet… look at all the people who die via being stabbed to death.

Interesting would be to see (in these “over-reacting schools & other public spaces”)…

If a person walked in with a NRA shirt promoting “hunting” (the obtaining of food) and another person walked in with a T-shirt promoting kitchens knives (companies) for preparing food obtained — who would be the most likely to get called out for a so-called and unacceptable “violent message”? I don’t think we have to suppose too much.

Too many people seem to have lost their common sense gene and minds!

“People” are responsible for their actions, not the “object” they utilize to carry that act out.  And just because there are people who happen to use guns for their acts of violence, doesn’t mean that the NRA (law-abiding citizens) had a single thing to do with it or has ever once promoted or condoned such behavior by anyone.

To blame the NRA for misuse of weapons by people, who aren’t even members, means that anyone selling or using kitchen knives are likewise responsible for any and all use of kitchen knives and they too should be held accountable for wrongful  use of them.

People have indeed lost their common sense and their minds!  It’s proven every day!

How dare you own a knife!  Are you promoting violence?  After all, it is someone’s weapon of choice.

The Liberal Tolerance Once Again Shows Itself For What It Is NOT — Tolerant

I have just finished reading (and sharing)  “Archbishop prays while topless gay activists shout curses and douse him with water” by John-Henry Westen (LifeSiteNews.com – Wed Apr 24, 2013 16:44 EST).  To say that I am appalled is an understatement of understatements.  To say what I want to say, is not allowed.  It isn’t politically correct – it’s accurate!

If I were someone in the process of considering that supporting gay marriage is “the right thing to do” – the behavior of these “tolerant” activists would have decided me otherwise.  It was rude and totally unnecessary.   It proved nothing more than that these activists are rude, intolerant and perverted.

I don’t see men and women exposing themselves, to sell the world on gun rights.  They present their arguments not their personals.  But then, it seems that gay activists have to shock and try to force people to “embrace & celebrate” their vulgarity and insistence that we all watch their sexuality in action and be delighted that we had the chance to do so.

Archbishop Andre-Joseph Leonard has class, unlike the topless liberals.

Gay activists have once again proven that while they DEMAND respect, tolerance and acceptance – they have none for others.  Their offerings appear to be the total substance of – shock and perversion.   Perhaps it is time to keep the shirts on and act like one has some respect for self and others, even the ones that don’t agree with them.  Perhaps!  But in the meantime, we are watching the intolerance of the liberal demanding tolerance for self and self beliefs only!

Control Grab: Politics of the Self-Serving

According to the Washington Post article, “Biden, in Connecticut, makes fiery plea for gun control in speech near Newtown”, VP Joe Biden is quoted as saying:

“I can’t imagine how we will be judged as a society if we do nothing,” Biden said. “If you’re concerned about your political survival, you should be concerned about the survival of our children. And guess what? I believe the price to be paid politically should go to those who refuse to act. . . . The American people are with us.”

VP Joe Biden, President Obama

VP Joe Biden, President Obama

Well, I, on the other hand, can’t imagine how we will be judged as a society due to self-serving politicians using the horrific deaths of innocent children to push through their control agendas.  Such politicians should be ashamed of themselves.

It wasn’t a gun owner that killed the little children in Newtown, Connecticut.  It was merely a kid, who took guns that did not belong to him.  A kid that apparently had mental issues.  The latter being what the focus should be on.  What made him capable of such horrors?  What set him off and sent him on the crazed killing spree of innocent ones?  Were there any signs?  Was there any stopping him or was there a tragedy just waiting to happen one way or another?

Law-abiding gun owners did not kill the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary, yet they are being held accountable as if they did.

Biden can’t imagine how our society will be judged if the politicians don’t swiftly restrict the lawful gun owner?  The gun owner that hadn’t a thing to do with the devastation?

Dianne Feinstein

Dianne Feinstein

What about the mental illness and illogical thought that is the core to such horrendous and tragic incidents being played out?  That’s where the killings begin, not what law is on the books for the law-abiding citizens that just happen to exist in the same world as those who are prone, or could be prone, to acting out in such an unspeakable fashion.

It bears repeating…

The gun may have been the weapon of choice for some, but never doubt that a troubled mind bent on killing, will find a means and a method.  It’s time to deal with the real problem – the troubled mind – rather than playing politics with tragedies such as the one that played out at Sandy Hook Elementary.

Shame on the politicians who are using the innocent little ones to push through a personal agenda.   One day, reason shall return and you shall be judged within its light.   When that happens, you shall find that fancy words, polls, ads and propaganda will no longer serve you.  The people will be onto you and your motives.  You shall then be scorned and mocked.   Your hopeful legacy shall be invalidated.

Time for Truth & Facts: ABC Allegedly Edits Michelle Obama

true falseInteresting news is that Michelle Obama’s comments were allegedly edited by ABC.

According to Charlie Spiering, Commentary Staff Writer for The Washington Examiner :

In an interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts aired this morning, First Lady Michelle Obama recalled the tragic death of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton who was shot and killed in Chicago after performing during the President’s Inauguration celebration in Washington D.C.

“She was caught in the line of fire because some kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need,” the First Lady explained. “I just don’t want to keep disappointing our kids in this country. I want them to know that we put them first.”

Chicago police reported, however, that Pendleton was shot by a man who “opened fire with a handgun before fleeing in a waiting car” according to the Associated Press.

Once again, misinformation is given about the type of gun and who was responsible.  It apparently wasn’t an automatic weapon and it wasn’t a kid.  It was a hand gun and it was a man according to the reports Spiering was relying upon.  So, what part of the truth is so difficult to comprehend and take into consideration?  Or, is it that the Obamas and other gun control supporters are merely taking advantage of the crisis at hand and doing a little altering here and there to fit their preferred argument for more restrictions?

The politicians, their wives, the activists and lobbyists should all be held accountable for the misinformation they are trying to spread to gain support for what they personally want, rather than what is necessarily for the good of the people.

It’s time that the “misinformation” be addressed, rather than merely ignoring or editing out inconvenient statements as first done by NBC & now ABC.  It’s time truth and facts get air-time and Running Man like behavior stay in the movies where it belongs.  This is, after all, “real life”, not some action movie meant to entertain for a couple of hours.  On the other hand, the Running Man plot sure seems eerily familiar.

Comprehension Incomprehenable: What Part of Reality & Facts Don’t Folks Get?

It’s unbelievable! Comprehension incomprehenable.   How many times do the facts have to be given and how many times do they have to be explained before folks get it?  What part of reality and facts fly over their heads?  One can only wonder and hope it isn’t catching.

More Gun Control?Miss New York, Mallory Hagan (according to ABC news) was crowned Miss American 2013, but not before she spit out some astonishing thoughts that do represent too many of the people hanging out in the USA today.

“In the wake of the Newtown tragedy there has been a lot of talk about gun control,” Champion said, “One solution being proposed is an armed guard in every school. Do you think that would make our schools safer?”

Hagan responded, “I don’t think the proper way to fight violence is with violence.

The presence of an armed guard is not violence in action.  It is a prevention.  However, if someone rushed into a school ready to blow away the kids, would Ms. Hagan prefer that it is a specially trained officer or guard that intercedes or the unarmed school counselor who may have read textbooks by some utopian authors?  Me?  I’ll take the trained armed guard or police officer.

Hagan goes on to say:

I think the proper way is to educate people on guns and the ways we can use them properly. We can lock them up, we can have gun safety classes, we can have a longer waiting period.”

Wait!  She wants to educate someone who is mentally ill on guns and ways to use them properly?  Gun safety classes and longer waiting periods?

I will say this very, very slow.

Ms. Hagan, the shooter at the Sandy Hook school did NOT purchase the weapons he used.  He took the weapons illegally for illegal purposes.  Your theory of educating him on guns, gun safety classes and longer waiting periods does not apply in this tragic case.  In short, your theory — no matter how pretty and delightful it sounds — is totally irrelevant to the facts at hand.

You, Ms. Hagan, and those such as you, keep talking about making new rules or bans that would mostly only apply to the law-abiding citizens anyway.  Can’t you understand that the criminals and mentally ill people don’t give the slightest darn what the rules are, except maybe to find a way around them?  Most of them are simply going to steal the guns or buy them illegally off the street.  So, what part of that don’t you understand?

Reality oriented people keep trying to tell all you “let’s make some more rules for the law-abiding citizens to fight what the criminals and mentally ill are doing” people — that your reaction and solution does not make sense.

Stop and think.

Pervert teenage boy tries to touch a girl improperly in the school hallway.  Girl slaps boy.  Teacher is witness to the incident and is therefore required to go to sexual harassment in the work place classes.

Same thing.  Makes as much sense.

Wrong people are being held accountable and the suggestion they should have classes, requirements and bans that aren’t even relevant to what transpired — is irrational thought and reaction!

The Sandy Hock tragedy had nothing to do with gun laws being too lax.  The shooter didn’t acquire the weapon or weapons legally.  He was a kid with mental problems.  And that is what everybody keeps forgetting or passing over , as they strive to punish the legit gun owners, who had nothing to do with this horrible incident.

Bans and new gun ownership rules and regulations?

What part of the facts don’t some people get?

The Sandy Hook shooter wasn’t a legal gun owner, nor had he applied to be.

Gun Control: Liberals Rush to Use the Tragic Death of Little Children

How pathetic!  Radical liberals are rushing to use the tragic death of little children to push through their gun control agendas?  Are we really to be impressed?

Babies were wrongly killed in Newtown, but it had nothing to do with lax gun control laws.  It had to do with a young man that had some serious mental problems.  A young man that didn’t go buy any gun he used.  He stole them.

So, the question becomes…

Why are the radical liberals going after the rights of “legal gun owners”, for what this young man wrongly did?

They didn’t kill those babies.  Nor did any gun law assist the killer in killing.

So, why are they — the legal gun owners — being called to pay the price for a young man that did wrongly do this monstrous act?  Why are their rights being called into question, when it wasn’t the law that was lax, but merely a young man in mental distress that did something horrendous and happened to use a gun to fulfill what he would have probably fulfilled one way or another anyways?

It’s time for common sense to step in and the radical liberals to be halted in their irrational tracks.

Legal gun owners did not harm the innocent babies in Newtown — it was an irrational young man with mental problems that targeted the little ones and gave the radical liberals a crisis to play upon!  It’s time to take the crisis away from them and put it where it belongs — it’s time to blame the shooter and whatever made him do it!

Just WHO is in Charge Here: The People or Career Politicians

Something is mighty wrong!  Just WHO is in charge?  “We the People” or they — the “Career Politicians“?

We voted for the elected officials with the once upon a time belief they were going to be representing us.  Instead, we keep finding out there are politicians   that voted on ObamaCare without even knowing what was in the bill or how it might adversely affect “the people”.   Did they even care?  After all, they are allowed exclusion from what they are forcing upon us, so it’s no big deal, it appears.

Now, it seems there is possibly a secret discussion going on to push through gun control issues“Secret”?  Secret from us — the ones that are supposed to have our wishes represented?  Secret from us — the people they are supposed to be listening to?

It’s always been questionable, but the “in your face” disregard for the opinion of the citizens, has gotten out of hand.  It has become a statement by appearance & actions that once in office, some of these elected officials think their “ideology” is what is good for us little idiots that voted for them and they will decide for us, since our decider is defective and unenlightened.  So, rather than represent us — they dictate to us and herd us to wherever they think we should be or to whatever they think should be done unto us.

I guess our “decider’s” are defective after all.  We are the idiots that voted for these people with their little personal agendas.  Maybe it’s time we tell them just who is in charge and that it is NOT THEM.  Time to tell them their little games will no longer be tolerated.  Next election, let’s vote for some trustworthy adults who understand they represent the people, not themselves and not whatever “cause” they “personally” support in spite of us!

Yes, next election, let’s take back our authority, vote for servants of the people and retire the career politicians who have forgotten who is supposed to be in charge.  Yes, let’s retire them to the land of ObamaCare and the Gun Free Zones that they created and make sure they, too, get to share in their creations.  Retire and unexempt them to the “real world” and “real results”.  Maybe then they will see who the true idiots really are!

President & Congress Not Needed In Gun Control Matters

It’s amazing how the administration hasn’t been able to take responsibility for Fast & Furious and weren’t able to protect our personnel in Benghazi, but now they think they need to take over gun control laws and further dictate to the civilian population?  How ironic is that?

Instead of worrying about law abiding citizens having and purchasing firearms, since there are already laws governing same, maybe the president and Congress ought to worry about the budget, the deficit, Benghazi, Fast & Furious and all the other matters they are responsible for and should have been attending to all along.  What a concept.

What happened in Newtown, Connecticut is heartbreaking, but it isn’t a gun control issue — it’s a mental health issue!  To say otherwise changes nothing.  What is, will be, no matter what spin is spun or what lie is spread.  Only perception changes and isn’t that exactly what is thought to have led to this heartless massacre of the innocent?  Hasn’t it been suggested that perhaps the shooter “thought his mother loved these children more than he?  So, perhaps it is “false perception” that a task force should be addressing instead of those other issues suggested.

Perhaps we should go even further.  Perhaps we should ban and arrest those who make a living creating, building and selling lies in the guise of news.  Perhaps we should ban the faulty and self-serving bills that are being rammed down our throats and arrest those who hang out in Washington, DC pretending to be lawmakers and representatives of the people.

Yes, rather than worrying about matters that don’t need the attention of the federal government, the president and Congress need to tend to their own business — assigned by “We the People” and the Constitution of the United States — that it has been neglecting for far too long.  Let’s see a responsible budget.  Let’s see some responsible discussion about how the deficit can be addressed.  Let’s see Obamacare repealed and constitutional laws considered as needed.  Let’s see some answers and accountability with the issue of Fast & Furious.  And, let’s not forget the Benghazi lies by the president and his Susan Rice.  Those are things they need to worry about and address.

One thing I guess some of the Washington, DC crowd needs to be reminded of — we don’t “need” them to survive, but they “need” us to survive a political career.  (Job description:  to serve and represent the people — not dictate to.)  With that in mind, rather than grand standing, playing to the cameras, pursuing their own personal agendas and appointing themselves the ultimate authority to tell us what to eat, what to wear, what to do, when to sleep and what slant to believe — these elected & appointed officials need to get busy doing the jobs they were sent there to do.  What?  A concept?  What a concept indeed.

Reality: Guns Aren’t the Cause

The babies and other victims haven’t even left the morgue yet, and numerous liberals are screaming for more gun control as they bash the right and blame guns.  Politics at its best.  Never waste a crisis.  Play on people’s emotions, rather than their reason.  And, of course, what is more emotional than innocent children being slaughtered?

Guns are not the cause of these massacresThey have merely been the means.  Take the guns away and those bent on mass murder, will simply utilize another means.  What part of this can’t the rabid gun control supporters comprehend?  The gun is not the “cause”, something else is and that is what we should be dealing with.  That’s how one can attempt to stop the senseless slaughter of the innocent.

I remember a case where a mother desperately tried to get her son help.  The system blocked her every attempt.  There was always a reason this agency or that agency couldn’t help.  Always a reason why she couldn’t get him admitted for evaluation.  And then… what she feared… what she had been desperately fighting to prevent happened — he killed himself.

Though it is sad the young man killed himself, luckily he didn’t take others with him.  But he could have.  He could have wiped out a room full of people before ending his own life.  What if he had?  Would one then be blaming the weapon of his choice, or the fact that he needed help and the system blocked him obtaining it?

Rather than decide gun control laws based on the emotional reaction to this vicious slaughter of little ones and their protectors, it should be based upon reason.  Details should be obtained and reviewed.  The “cause”… the real thing that “caused” this young man to do one of the most hideous things imaginable, should be determined and studied, so as to prevent that “cause” from developing in others or make it identifiable so as to have chance to stop the person before he or she “acts out”.

Guns are not the “cause”.  That’s a fact, no matter what the rabid gun control supporters try to argue.  And, until people comprehend that fact and focus on what sets these people off and sends them into a killing frenzy — another frenzy is just waiting to happen.  Next time though, it might be a bomb or a fire or knives.  It could even be a car.  One never knows, because these events are the result of the “cause”, not the weapon of choice.

What happened in Newtown, Connecticut is a hideous nightmare that no child, parent, family or community should have to live through.  May no other community be faced with such devastation.  God Bless the Children and the heroes, who fought to save them.  Likewise, may God Bless and keep those left behind to remember the day Newtown lost its innocence!

Mayor Bloomberg Using Newtown to Push His Own Agenda?

It certainly didn’t take NYC Mayor Bloomberg long to jump on the horrific tragedy in Newtown, Conn. and start using it to push his own personal agenda.  Way to go, Bloomberg.  Don’t waste a crisis, right?

Yes, Bloomberg, play on the emotions of a country that is in shock from children — innocent children — being slaughtered.  Never mind any of the details that have yet to be discovered or shared with those not directly involved in the case.  Insinuate that you have all the answers and know best how to prevent such a nightmare from ever happening again.  Go ahead, but many of us know differently.  Many of us know that the system has often been the hindrance and big government, especially big brother, isn’t the way to make the world safer for anyone, including the children.

According to, “NYC Mayor Bloomberg slams Obama on guns: ‘We need immediate action’, by Beth Fouhy (The Ticket – 12/14/12):

Bloomberg, a longtime gun control advocate, released a statement through Mayors Against Illegal Guns, an advocacy group he co-founded with Boston Mayor Thomas Menino.

“President Obama rightly sent his heartfelt condolences to the families in Newtown. But the country needs him to send a bill to Congress to fix this problem,” Bloomberg said. “Calling for ‘meaningful action’ is not enough. We need immediate action. We have heard all the rhetoric before. What we have not seen is leadership—not from the White House and not from Congress.”

We haven’t seen leadership?  This coming from someone that thinks he has the duty to ban 32 oz. drinks and to pressure women to breast feed? Bloomberg thinks it is leadership, to take advantage of the deaths of innocent children, though he is without all the facts involving this horrendous act of cowardice?  Looks more like politics to me.  Shame on you, Bloomberg.
