The shadows follow into the night, brushing against the moment and cloaking in a chill of foreboding and rambling whispers.
A lone star mocks.
A chirp betrays.
A breeze moans.
Darkness dances and whirls in a haunting silence — the tune long forgotten — the steps mimicking and purposeless.
A fox cringes.
A bird soars in terror.
A cloud wanders.
A town sits alone and frightened in its despair of life that was, but now only memories burning and bitter in hopelessness.
The night cries.
A tree falters.
The shadows follow into the night, brushing against the moment and cloaking in a chill of foreboding and rambling whispers, as the blasts come closer… closer… closer… until they are heard no more.

The icy chill of winter, clinging beyond its time, mocks and dances against the lonely night of darkness where no friendly voice speaks and no hopeful hand rests.
The chill… the darkness… the hopelessness embraces and suffocates.
Cries begging for mercy race to the heavens, as man drags still another unwilling soul into the pit of vile corruption that seeks to crush and devour.
The chill… the darkness… the hopelessness embraces and suffocates.
A hopeful challenge sings against the confusion, with no one to listen and few to remember the days when the world was not encouraged to sink into the incomprehension of utter insanity.
The chill… the darkness… the hopelessness embraces and suffocates.
Madness and rage erupt into boiling lava of confused hate and lost reason, as the masses seek to feast upon the spirit of all others not they or theirs.
The chill… the darkness… the hopelessness embraces and suffocates.
A dream, or a nightmare, there was a moment… a moment somewhere within time… a moment touched with a vague sense of humanity and good purpose.
The chill… the darkness… the hopelessness embraces and suffocates.
Where… where did those moments of a dream go? Did they travel far or just beyond the glimpse of a horizon hidden?
Did the chill… the darkness… the hopelessness embrace and suffocate all hope of a tomorrow to be as once was?
The answers await within the night not present. Only in a distant tomorrow will the truth be revealed to survivors of the icy chill that dances within the darkness where no friendly voice speaks and no hopeful hand rests.
The saved or the damned? Only they shall know as they emerge into whatever has become.

It’s time to stop the madness. False allegations and selfish cause do not a solid foundation create. Instead, the distortion fuels hostility and closes minds to the truth that could lead to door opening conversation and actual solutions and hope for the future. Why would any not wish for the latter to become today’s reality?
The past is not the present. Nothing once upon a time can be changed. It can only be learned from. And, in studying the blueprint of the past, we have chance to see what went wrong, why it went wrong, and who made it go wrong, so as to give opportunity to understand and to avoid repeating the bad, while then building upon the good and striving to repair the damage once caused and not forgotten.
Various groups of people have been wronged in one way or another. Sadly, too many rally not against the wrong itself, but rather, to the wrong seen as being done unto them. Some, simply cannot, or will not, comprehend there are others — other groups of people — who have also been wronged and harmed equally and perhaps even more so.
Women were once property first of their fathers and then their husbands. Some were beaten and treated as nothing more than servants to use and abuse. There was a time women couldn’t vote or own property or even have authority over their own children.
Modern day activists often forget about the plight of the women and even the indentured servitude that existed during much of the slavery period. Some whites were also kidnapped and brought to American against their will and sold into service. True, their service was supposed to be for a term and then released, if they survived, but it, too, was slavery and treatment could be beyond harsh to violent and deadly.
“The Grapes of Wrath”, though fiction, gives a glimpse of the desperation and deplorable way some people were treated during that period of time known as the Great Depression. (It also comes in movie form for those who rather not read.) Yet, it seems it is a horror story lost somewhere between then and now.
This is not to compare who had it worse. It is merely to remind that life has been unfair, devastating and horrific to many, many individuals and groups of people throughout the years. To cry foul only for self and blame present day people for things they had nothing to do with, only creates new hostility to go along with the old, and does nothing to solve the actual problems.
Tonight, someone presented me with a picture of a black man hanged. The picture was from long ago. Though it is a sad reminder of what once was — and where we (as a society or individually) should never go again — it should not be held as an example and excuse to react as though it is present day behavior, norm or mentality. It is not!
Many things seem to be forgotten, as present day radical activists spew hate and stoke the fires of discontent and rage with lies, half-truths, and a message blaming the white man for all the ills ever befallen to any of color. It must, after all, be the white man’s fault or the radical activists face losing relevance and all the benefits associated to that self-made relevance.
How often do you hear a radical activist mention that African tribesmen captured Africans from other tribes and sold them into slavery?
How often do you hear radical activists point out that if it is reasonable to hold all present day whites accountable for some long ago whites owning slaves or condoning slavery, that it would then be likewise reasonable to hold all Africans accountable for some long ago Africans capturing fellow Africans and selling them into that slavery?
How often do you hear a radical activist admit the majority of white men did not own slaves or condone the practice?
How often do you hear the radical activist talk about all the white people, who helped slaves escape and fought to abolish slavery?
How often do you see radical activists pointing to the pictures that give example of the overwhelming number of whites that were involved in the Civil Rights Movement and stood with Martin Luther King, Jr.?
How often do you hear the radical activist remind that the Ku Klux Klan purportedly didn’t just hate blacks — that they hated Jews and Catholics as well?
How often do you hear the radical activist speak of “The Murders of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner” and that it wasn’t just a black man that was killed in Mississippi on June 21, 1964?
Things happened in the past that none of us — regardless of skin shade — had a thing to do with. We weren’t born yet. We weren’t there. We weren’t involved. We had no ability to influence or stop what might have transpired during that horrendous time.
White society is not perfect — nor is the black community.
All law enforcement officers are not without sin — neither is any segment of society. Improvement may need to come from the entire community by changing behavior and attitude — rather than single groups of people being asked to excuse and over-look wrongful behavior of some. It’s a reality that needs to be dealt with and not ignored. Some examples are glaring.
If a police department trains officers to be more “sensitive” to the community it serves and to be mindful of the plight endured or claimed to be endured, while leaving the community gang, drug and violent ridden — what good result is expected? The crime will still be there. The drugs will still be there. The hate and the violence will still be there. And, “The Man” will still be considered the common enemy to hate and distrust.
Blaming law enforcement for ticketing or arresting a large number of persons from a specific group, when that group is the majority in the community, is rather brow raising. Who would they be in contact with most often, if not the majority of people who live in their jurisdiction? But taking a moment to weigh this bit of deduction is not often exercised or pointed out, because it doesn’t fit into the agenda of many radical activists. What if people came to realize that they weren’t targeted racially, but rather, confronted for “actions” that they are responsible for? That would be bad for the radical business.
Before blaming law enforcement for enforcing the law — or claiming they are enforcing it unfairly — people in the various communities need to step back and take a good look at their neighborhood and what is taking place in it. Are there an overwhelming number of arrests? If there was a true and fair study by non-radical activists, might it show that the reason there are an overwhelming number of arrests is because there are an overwhelming number of crimes?
People committing crimes should be the immediate concern of the community, rather than — without proof — crying that the officers unfairly target one group or another. They are, after all, supposed to target those who break the law, regardless of race, gender, nationality or religion.
Using the wrongs of the past as excuse for inappropriate behavior of the present, does nothing to move towards healing or correcting the actual problems of present day. Instead, it is an attempt by many of the radical thinkers to put up a smoke screen to keep the truth hidden and the fire burning. What would happen, after all, if communities did take a good look at self, accept any blame due and came together to define actual problems, followed by fixing and rebuilding and moving ahead to make a better life for all the interested parties?
What would happen? Might radical activists become useless and left in the past where most of their accusations did once exist?
It’s time to put the hands down. It’s time to look around at the madness. It’s time to see who is profiting from the half-truths, false accusations and rage that is being stoked. It’s time to look at the agitators (claiming to be champions of the cause) and honestly determine if the communities are any better or safer than before, or if agitation only caused more harm and hate to grow and threaten to explode in coming days, months or years?
It’s time to put hands down. It’s time to really listen. It’s time to accept responsibility as well as demand accountability. It’s time to define, plan and work together to create safe communities people are proud to call their own. It’s time to talk.

I don’t just pull things out of a horse’s rump and throw it out as truth. I actually read and search and verify, unlike some of the seemingly brainwashed and vicious Obama defenders of today’s society.
Obama said, “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what.”
That came out of Obama’s mouth. His own mouth. His own words. His own promise. I didn’t pull it out of a horse’s rump, but he must have.
Thousands upon thousands of people are getting cancellation notices. Yet, in the mist of all this, Obama Zombies (the fainting following) are swearing that if people have insurance — they won’t have to change. But they are having to change. It’s happening. It’s real. It’s all around. And it isn’t done yet.
Of course, once it is shown by a source other than Fox News that cancellations are in the high numbers, the argument becomes that the policies were lacking in quality coverage. Excuse me, it should be up to the insurance seeker and insured to decide what coverage best meets his or her particular needs and budget. People don’t need the government playing Nanny, especially when it isn’t Nanny that must cough up any and all additional costs associated with these uninvited decisions.
It doesn’t matter. Obama said repeatedly: “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what.”
What happened to that guarantee? Would people have voted for AHC if they had known what Obama said wasn’t true?
Then we have the website issues and Amanda Marcotte saying she wants a screen shot proof or people are lying:
@mrussRSF That’s not what I asked for. Not stories on glitches, which are getting fixed. Proof that your premiums went up. Different!
— Amanda Marcotte (@AmandaMarcotte) October 23, 2013
Yes, “she” makes an accusation and then demands others prove her wrong, rather than “her” proving her statement true. It’s not supposed to work that way, but in this flipped universe we are living in, it’s happening way too often.
Well, Amanda, here’s a screen shot for you:
In anger I defy you, oh mighty thief of all good that has ever been. You are a vile creature, who mocks and insults, for your empty vessel has nothing more to offer the moment either then or now or even yesterday.
I walk away from the ignorance of your ways, but you continue to follow and bay in tune with the idol of your thought core-center. The noise so maddening, yet to you so sweet and pure.
The sickness flows from your programmed mouth, as your eyes flicker in dullness and a cloud of blinding obedience to the one who feeds the senses of pure hate and vile pleasure.
You suggest to live in enlightenment and I in the dark ages of old. Yet, it is you whose fire has been extinguished with nothing left of self within or beyond. Your spirit gone, you now exist obedient to they — the master of the flesh. A master who knows no loyalty nor mercy. A master who mocks and devours all who dare to call him friend. For, he has no friends by intent… only fools who feed the beast in delightful ignorance that they, too, have an expiration date stamped upon their fate and no choices left to make.

I thought about writing about today’s political events, but quickly realized it would be redundant. Anyone following the happenings of this current life-mess read it all yesterday or perhaps even several weeks ago. Oh… yes… there are a few technicalities that might have changed, but the outcome is right back where it started.
Radical liberals are still calling other people names, while whining if they think they’ve been called one.
We have the radical liberals deciding the Confederate flag is a statement of the Tea Party, Republicans & Senator Ted Cruz attitude, but the OFA thinks it is unfair to suggest they are less than sensitive to the disabled after having a sign that says, “Tea-Tards”. (Like we don’t get the reference to the term – retards.)
Oh, and then there are those radical liberal writers that suggest Tea Party members have all these characteristics that are quite unproven? Does truth matter at all to the radical liberal?
But it’s all a mess.
One moment it looks like progress is being made.
Then there is ole Harry Reid… you know… the senator that wrongly threw out a rumor during the election year and hoped it would stick? Harry Reid is blocking any effort the House makes to try to provide funding, yet then tries to blame the Republicans for the failure to fund?
Oh how delicious is that?
The constant is Obama with his rhetoric and wrongful descriptions as he always blames someone — anyone — except Obama!
On and on we go… where we stop… no one knows! But stop we should! Stop we must! It’s time to bring sanity back into government and into our lives. After all, we really aren’t their little zombies, unless we allow ourselves to be.
Time to pay attention!
Time to use our own minds! — the ones not cluttered with irrational thoughts!
As for writing about today’s events — never mind — tomorrow is soon enough!
No, your word is not good enough.
Ask the foreign countries what they think of your “word”
or the “word” presented in your behalf.
You dare ask us to trust you & take your word, after all the lies that have come out of your administration?
Exactly when has the NRA ever promoted gun violence? (I’m asking for proven incidents, not something made up in the minds of people, who want to get rid of all guns, except those used to protect them.) Never!
It seems that some people have this intense need to get rid of guns, because guns have been “used” by “some” people to kill or harm. Though knives have also been “used” by “some” to kill and harm, I haven’t seen the wild and crazy anti-gun fanatics attempt to get rid of their set of pocket or kitchens knives. They definitely don’t speak ill of the info-commercial hosts and accuse them of promoting violence — yet… yet… look at all the people who die via being stabbed to death.
Interesting would be to see (in these “over-reacting schools & other public spaces”)…
If a person walked in with a NRA shirt promoting “hunting” (the obtaining of food) and another person walked in with a T-shirt promoting kitchens knives (companies) for preparing food obtained — who would be the most likely to get called out for a so-called and unacceptable “violent message”? I don’t think we have to suppose too much.
Too many people seem to have lost their common sense gene and minds!
“People” are responsible for their actions, not the “object” they utilize to carry that act out. And just because there are people who happen to use guns for their acts of violence, doesn’t mean that the NRA (law-abiding citizens) had a single thing to do with it or has ever once promoted or condoned such behavior by anyone.
To blame the NRA for misuse of weapons by people, who aren’t even members, means that anyone selling or using kitchen knives are likewise responsible for any and all use of kitchen knives and they too should be held accountable for wrongful use of them.
People have indeed lost their common sense and their minds! It’s proven every day!
How dare you own a knife! Are you promoting violence? After all, it is someone’s weapon of choice.
There are numerous stories about the employees being affected by the government shutdown and we are only two days into their financial nightmare. Understand that I’m not wishing for, or happy about, anyone losing their income, but wait a minute… the shutdown is only temporary — Obamacare financial losses are long term, if not permanent. Why aren’t those Obamacare affected employees/former employees as important as the government ones?
Listening to everyone carry on about how unfair this all is, the thought “entitlement” keeps coming to mind. It’s as though the government employees are entitled to their jobs, though no one else is entitled to theirs. It’s as though everyone else is considered expendable and simply collateral damage.
I get it.
The news media is headed towards government run organizations.
Government employees are protected, while private sector is destroyed.
Then we come to the government being in complete control of every aspect of our lives and deaths.
Orwellian fiction is fast becoming our 21st Century reality. And so few seem to notice what is happening around them or realize how they themselves are being led to what to believe and not believe. As for now, it is a tragedy that the government employees have lost two days of pay, while a shoulder shrug that so many private sector workers have lost their jobs or the hours they were counting on. Where is the outrage for their long term lack of pay? Where is the fight to get the job killers talking and fighting to get the private sector workers back on the job? Oh, that’s right… the job killers are the ones fighting to keep Obamacare intact regardless of what devastation and destruction it causes.
Government workers = entitled to job and pay.
Private sector workers = expendable and entitled to nothing.
This should be all it takes to open the eyes of the willing-blind. Do you now see by the actual “Victims of Government Shutdown vs Victims of Obamacare” where we have come to be and where we are headed? We should all be more than a bit concerned. Is Obamacare, as is, really worth it?
There you go. One more down. Who else can we get rid of?
The thought brings to mind a picture of an eager face with a vile grin and some drool running down the chin for good measure. “Oh look, that little old lady in Aisle 4 doesn’t have quality of life. I wouldn’t want to live that way, walking with a limp. Let’s get her. Boy, this legal murder is empowering. Look at me! I have power over life and death. Why didn’t we start doing this before now? Oh, good another one back by the frozen foods. Such a good day for plug pulling.”
Think it can’t ever happen?
Who would have thought we would ever be where we are today? Who would have thought we would be so ready to say that helpless people “aren’t in there”, and thus believe it is simply okay to starve and dehydrate them to death? Who would have thought, but that is where society has arrived at. Society is killing off the weakest without thought to those who have fallen victim to illness, injury, disability or age. It is outrageous at how cold and cruel our society has become.
It is easy to say someone has no hope, when no therapy or attempt has been made to help the person get better. It’s causing the problem and then having the problem be our supportive argument as to why not to take any positive actions.
For those who might not get what I just said, it would be like a husband taking the one and only family car and then blaming the wife for not driving to the grocery store for something he wanted while he was gone with the one and only car that prevented her from being able to drive to the store to get what he wanted while he was gone with the one and only car.
Or, how about a teacher not giving an assignment, but then blaming the class for not completing the assignment not given?
Likewise, people can’t always get better without the tools and treatment being made available to them.
They can’t wheel themselves down the hallway, if they don’t have a wheel chair to wheel.
They can’t do physical therapy if none is offered, nor anyone to tell them how.
They can’t take the necessary medications to cure their illness, if no medication is made available.
They can’t eat or drink if no food or water is provided.
They can’t look out the window if there is no window to look out of.
Simply put, people can’t get better if they aren’t allowed to get better, because all things that will (or might) make them better is denied them.
But none of this appears to matter in this day and age, when the so-called “Enlightened” seem to feel they are the anointed and have the power of a god to make life and death decisions in spite of what the person or family might want.
Listening to the arguments of many is a waste of time. They justify with issues that are irrelevant to the case at hand. I liken their arguments to:
Spot — the dog — pooped in the yard, so Spot’s owners aren’t going to feed the cat bird food.
So, one asks this person what any of that has to do with anything or even with each other, and the person might come back with the righteous question — “What? Are you trying to say that Spot didn’t poop in the yard?”
Or, maybe the response will be, “What? Are you supporting feeding the cat bird food?”
Sometimes I wonder if the irrational is to drive the rational over the edge or wear them down where they give up the fight against this madness. I don’t know, but I do know that I get tired of it and would like to put the irrational in a padded room with all their irrational statements played back to them throughout the day and night and see their reaction to their own words… their own arguments… their own enjoyment at playing these games with others.
I guess I should ask for forgiveness for wishing such on even them, but it doesn’t take away the truth that something really does need to be done to shake up this world and get it (and us) back on track. This craziness has simply gotten all too boring and quite too dangerous for all too many people.
Those who think they are gods and anointed to make choices between life and death for those who aren’t asking for their services, should be demoted to Spot’s poop scoopers and making sure the cat isn’t fed the bird food, while those who respect life — should be the ones moved into the position considered “Enlighten” and given the courtesy of a listen.
Once “non-responsive” is not necessarily forever “unresponsive”.
Unable to speak or move is not necessarily a sign that a person is gone and that the brain is dead.
Those who believe the garbage being spit out in this day and age to suggest otherwise of what I just said, should read the story of Kate Allatt, Mother-of-three left ‘locked in’ by a stroke last year WALKS down the aisle to renew her wedding vows . By Daily Mail Reporter Created 10:15 AM on 25th May 2011. It might just be an eye opener and give a person wonder of what if they were in a situation as she. Would they, too, like the opportunity to return to their life? Or, would they rather Spot eat the bird food and the cat poop in the yard while the bird makes the decision just before he goes to work to consider giving the rat still another loan to pay for his teeth so he can chew up the constitution and any good works that might have once shown us to be compassionate human beings trying to make this world a better place for all?
Pulling the plug on any, should be a something taken very serious and it has nothing to do with what Spot did in the yard today or yesterday or any day before!
It has to do with the issues at hand!
It has to do with a human life we are talking about and deciding about!
What if we are wrong?
Ask Kate Allatt and her family about the consequences of wrong and what might have been if continued!
Ask her if she rather have been unplugged or allowed to walk down the aisle to renew her wedding vows. Her answer might astonish our “enlightened”, but it certainly doesn’t astonish me or the rest of us “unenlightened”.
We just hope the realization spreads.

WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) released the following statement regarding Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s decision to block consideration of the House-passed Continuing Resolution to avoid a government shutdown.
“Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had the opportunity this afternoon to avert a government shutdown. Instead, he chose to kill the House’s bill to keep government open, a deliberate act to move towards a government shutdown. This is no surprise. After the House acted Saturday night, Sen. Reid refused to call the Senate back to service, instead leaving senators at home on vacation while a shutdown loomed. And he has apparently advised the President not to meet with House and Senate leaders of both parties. Harry Reid wants a shutdown, because, sadly, Democrats are putting politics above the needs of the American people. The New York Times explained why: because, as the Democrats believe “now is the time to break the power of Tea Party Republicans.”
“This is exactly the kind of DC-based thinking that makes Americans disdain Washington, DC. Democrats need to listen to the people and start working for the millions of Americans who are losing their jobs, wages, and healthcare benefits because of Obamacare. This is not a debate over a government shutdown; it’s a debate about how Obamacare is plaguing our economy. I will continue working to make sure the government stays open and Americans receive the same benefits as giant corporations and Congress under Obamacare. Until then, I hope the American people will continue to speak out against this disastrous, train wreck of a law and make DC listen.”
Divide and conquer is what an organized enemy does before going in for the win. It’s perhaps time that “we” take note of what has been happening in our world. We have been divided and we are being defeated at every turn. “We” meaning all of us that are not on the elite pedestal of exemption. “We”, the ones who will be first to feel the results of this run-away train of arrogance, ignorance and lack of empathy for all but their special and chosen groups of whom — “we” are not a member, nor ever shall be.
People are stepping forward and letting it be known that they do not want ObamaCare as it now exists. The voices are not only ignored, but to listen to the MSM, and speeches from Obama down to his lowest communication agent — the citizens are instead quite elated. It’s those bad Republicans that are trying to do mean and dirty things. Just who is it that is not living in reality? Perhaps they hope we will believe it is us, rather than they. And truthfully… if they are able to isolate us — so we can’t or won’t compare notes — they have a very real chance of creating their illusion and presenting it as authentic. That should give one a shiver or two.
Racism does still exist today, just as sexism does. However, it isn’t as it once was. It isn’t the dominate trend — it is the exception. However, there are those who stoke the fires and attempt to make everything about racism or sexism or whatever other “ism” necessary, so as to create an illusion of victimhood that can be utilized to herd the targeted person or group towards whatever belief and action is beneficial to the agitators goal.
Sadly, too many fall for the scam and eagerly follow to whatever hate and discontent they were assigned to be a part of. Yes, assigned to.
Can any actually believe this chaos simply happened on it’s own?
We must remember that the enemy strives to divide so they might easily conquer.
Our world, as it now is, is being driven and directed for the benefit of someone, or someones, who definitely are not looking out for the best interest of “We the People”. Whoever these specific people are — they have proven to be masters of deception, division and defection. Their mastery is our threat — our realization is theirs.
Divide & Conquer — A Statement We Desperately Need to Remember!
I just love it when people send P.R. (propaganda) mail and call me names or otherwise insult me in their little pep talk aimed at getting money from me , no less. I guess I’m supposed to be one of their Zombie followers or too stupid to get that I’ve been insulted or that insulting me will make me feel I must be wrong and must rush over and become a Zombie, too. Who knows. Who cares? Whatever they are thinking — they are WRONG!
It reads: “We are the largest grassroots movement organizing every day to knock down those roadblocks, one by one.”
They call people in Congress — who are actually representing their constituents — roadblocks?
They are going to knock them down one by one? Really? And just what’s the plan? How are they going to do that? Will they pull a Harry Reid on the roadblock Congress people? You know… throw some “misinformation” out there about the person, in an attempt to challenge his or her credibility?
It goes on…”We have an aggressive plan for the months ahead — that’s because building the kind of organization that can stand up to the powerful interests and the obstruction -focused members of Congress takes a lot of grassroots power.”
Takes a lot of arrogance, too.
The “powerful interests” in this situation happens to be you and me and anyone else that is a citizen. People have spoken and some Congress members are actually doing what they are supposed to be doing — LISTENING & ACTING ON THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE. Then we have this grassroots group that is going to aggressively knock down any of these Congress members who have dared represent their districts… who have dared represent US and our wishes?
Am I to be impressed or something?
Oh… oh… and then they put… “Since we launched ___, we haven’t slowed down. You’re the reason for that…”
I think they have mistaken me for someone else. I deserve no credit for their existence or anything they have done or attempted to do, nor do I want any. As a matter of fact, I consider their efforts to be insulting to the American citizens and representative of nothing more than “Bully Power”!
Government isn’t supposed to be a playground with everyone going around, “Let’s pretend this is true…” or “Let’s pretend these are the facts…” or “Let’s pretend I’m the good guy and you are the bad guy…” This is REAL LIFE and REAL LIVE PEOPLE are being affected by decisions being made. Needless to say — the games need to stop! The games need to stop and people need to take a REAL look at what is taking place right in their face!
The “roadblocks” are Congressmen & Women, who are listening and responding to those they are representing. How dare anyone suggest to remove them one by one. That sounds like a threat!
Oh, that ticks me off…
The article, Why Does My “Invisible Friend” Bother You So Much, has resulted in a touch of frustration, entertainment of the day, and pure validation. Yes, validation. Validation of what so many of us have come to see as the new reality people are attempting to impose upon the masses. To suggest many of us are tired of it, is the understatement of the century. It’s old. It’s used up. It’s a game no longer selling with ease, as the boycott membership swiftly grows.
Why Does My “Invisible Friend” Bother You So Much was dealing with the need of SOME to get rid of anything and everything that suggests Christianity, while either supporting, or ignoring, rude & lewd behavior in public (possibly in front of children). And, let’s not forget the Mosque/Islamic “exception” and demand for tolerance not afforded the Christian churches, though they (the Muslims), too, have an “Invisible Friend”.
Rather than deal with the topic at hand, the reaction was an attempt to slide the discussion elsewhere and totally away from the point.
I did not ask why people didn’t simply believe in God. I asked why it bothered them so much that they had to remove any sign of my “Invisible Friend” from view, while demanding tolerance for the Muslims and their “Invisible Friend”? What did (and do) they fear that they can’t simply let Christian believers believe? What did (do) they fear that made, and makes, it necessary to demand removal and exclusion of anything thing that resembles Christianity, while often promoting (with a passion) anything that is non-Christian or blatantly against Christianity?
A person tried to get into a conversation about the wrongful things that happened in the guise of Christianity, but… that wasn’t the topic.
I kept trying to remind the person what the topic was. It was useless.
It was suggested that I am delusional. I was asked if I was stupid. Well, most readers know the drill and how the conversation went – ‘cause it was like they always go. It was also suggested that I made it all up. Straw man illusion, if you will. No one was actually trying to take away anything and everything that might suggest a Christian theme. So, I presented an article dealing with a Christmas tree ban.
Needless to say, but I will…
The person, at times throughout the conversation, responded by repeating a particularly offensive word over and over. (Now there’s an intelligent argument.)
Likewise, the person said that I had failed to address all that he/she presented about Christianity, but I had dared to bring up a Christmas tree ban. Then there was the laughing and so forth as he attempted to mock me. EXCEPT… things such as a Christmas tree ban was the major point of the particular article. Yes, In regard to the article, Why Does My “Invisible Friend” Bother You So Much — Christmas tree banning was quite relevant to the issue presented.
Straw man illusion? Wouldn’t that apply to someone pretending to be rational, while trying to commandeer a discussion and ignoring the actual question presented? And yes… wouldn’t that apply to that same someone who was suggesting no one is trying to remove signs of Christianity except maybe from schools? Oh, and wouldn’t that apply to that same person who was trying to tell me the point of the article? You know, the article I personally thought up and wrote all on my own without his input or guidance? (Somehow, I think I am the most qualified to know what point I was trying to make. Whether I made it or not, is an entirely different issue.)
My question again with the examples spelled out for the little mocker types, who deny even the obvious when it doesn’t fit their agenda…
Why Does My “Invisible Friend” Bother You So Much that there is a problem with having a Christmas tree or saying something so simple as, “Merry Christmas”? What is it that is feared? What is it that you fear — that makes all these things so dangerous to you that you can’t just let them be? Why is it necessary to remove and destroy anything you feel is even remotely related to my “Invisible Friend”, while promoting tolerance for the Muslims or the rude and the lewd?
That is the question. No commandeering invited or allowed.
Maybe it is time to stop playing politics and stop playing on emotions to push through PERSONAL AGENDAS and start dealing with the REAL PROBLEMS involved.
Madness looks into my eyes and speaks with drooling words of pure deceit. It thinks I shan’t know or notice? Does it suppose that once it utters its blatant lies that they shall somehow become the ultimate truth to touch reality now and in all tomorrows to be?
Oh, to wonder what it thinks is to chase the empty shadows of the night. There is no reason within the thoughts to grasp or to hold, nor to define as any sense of sanity possessed.
Oh yes, madness tells me I did all that I did not and that I said all that never touched my lips or even my silent thoughts. It does say though whatever it will and demands that I willingly agree. All must be my fault, after all, for it is the god of all that is enlightenment that says such to be so, and I am only one that travels in servitude through their world of the elite privilege and dominate control.
I am no one in the eyes of the self-appointed enlightened, who writes and rewrites history and the claims of a truth to fit whatever is to its benefit at any given moment.
Madness shakes in uncontrollable response, as I dare to refuse its lies and deceit to become mine or to shade anything I have done or said. It calls out that I must… I must… I must agree to its claims and do as it bids for “it is the right thing to do”.
As the drool slides down its distorted face of madness, I smile. I turn. I walk away. I leave it in the darkness of the night to chase the shadows of nothingness that it has become. I leave it there to destroy itself, as I walk into the rewards of truth that shines upon the day and the world that is mine and perhaps yours as well.
