About to blow a gasket…

This afternoon, I read,The GOP’s Sham Denunciation of Ted Nugent“, by Earl Ofari Hutchinson and felt like blowing a gasket.

Then I read, “Earl Ofari Hutchinson is an author and political analyst. He is a frequent MSNBC contributor. He is an associate editor of New America Media. He is a weekly co-host of the Al Sharpton Show on American Urban Radio Network. He is the host of the weekly Hutchinson Report on KTYM 1460 AM Radio Los Angeles and KPFK-Radio and the Pacifica Network.”

Nevermind.  His opinion isn’t worth a perfectly good gasket.

Racism… Racism… Racism

wolfOnce upon a time, as the tale goes, there was a boy that cried wolf when there really wasn’t one.  Then one day, he cried wolf because there really was a wolf, but no one paid any attention because of all the times he had duped them.  (Now replace “wolf” with “racism” or “discrimination”.)

The moral of the story is simple.  Keep throwing the false allegations out there and one day, when the allegation is true, people aren’t going to believe it because it was never true all the other times.  And that is where we are at today.

How dare anyone disagree with Obama.  To do so was and is alleged to be racism.  Except it wasn’t and isn’t racism to simply disagree with another person.

For people such as Oprah Winfrey to say Obama is a victim of racism is a slap in the face to all who have been the victims of racism, sexism and whatever other form of discrimination that has been unjustly played upon them.  The simple truth is… if there was racism in this country to the degree that Oprah and other Obama followers try to say there is — Oprah would never have been deemed the Queen of Talk Shows and Obama would never have been elected in the first place.  Can’t have it both ways.

On the other hand, since Oprah and these racism allegers dwell on the thought of racism as a motive to all things, might it be that they are the ones that are the actual racists?

I’m sorry if Oprah was ever discriminated against, but I have news for her — so was I.  So were a great many people for various reasons and in various situations.  Though sometimes it is… and though I have been burnt big time…  I don’t look at every negative situation in my life as being the result of the fact that I’m a woman or that I’m a Catholic or that I chose a career in a male dominated field or that I’m not as rich as some think I should be.  Sometimes things happen that haven’t a single thing to do with me personally.  And… sometimes… just sometimes… people actually think I’m wrong and feel they have a right to say so.

People need to grow up and let go of the past and start living in the present!

Yes, there was a time that slavery existed in the US.  It was also a time when women and children were considered property of the husband/father.  Let’s not forget that little bit of history, when we think of all the wrongs done unto a group… any group… of people.  And how about the Native Americans?  They’re part of the history of peoples wronged.  Oh… oh… and we can’t forget the Irish Catholics that were so hated either.  Then there are the Jews that supposedly lied about the Holocaust and were taking over the world via the banks.

The list goes on and on.

Numerous groups of people have found themselves discriminated against at one time or another somewhere or another, but somehow “exceedingly rich” Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama take top billing on the victims’ list?  I don’t think so.

Again… if racism truly existed now days as Oprah and the Obama team try to suggest — she would never have been Queen of Talk Shows & he would never have been elected president — especially over Hillary Clinton.

It’s time to get rid of the false allegations of racism and start dealing in honesty, in reality and in the present where sometimes — disagreement is simply a difference of opinion because people have different opinions — period!

 * * *

If you like your opinion – you can keep it.  Period.

My Personal Thoughts: Obama elected because of Oprah

oprah-reaction-to-president-elect-obamaMy personal opinion is that Obama wouldn’t have had a chance of being elected president, if it had not been for the support of Oprah Winfrey.  Nothing to do with his racism — I mean race — but rather, because hardly anyone knew who he was, while hardly anyone hasn’t heard of Oprah.  She brought him into the lime light and gave him name recognition.  Likewise the trust in her was then transferred to being trust in him.  “We can trust Oprah, so we can trust Obama.”

Many people who voted for Obama have buyer’s remorse.  People feel betrayed.  For as bad as any might feel, can you imagine how Oprah feels?  She knew this man and his wife.  She put her reputation on the line for them.  How did that work out for her?  Not so well, it seems.

The stories I have read, suggest that once Obama was elected — he and Michelle pretty much snubbed Oprah.   I guess she was no longer worthy of their friendship.  Well, until it was time to push the unpopular Obamacare that is.  Suddenly, it appears that when Obama needed help pushing his so-called “Affordable” Health Care, Oprah was called upon to assist.  Guess she wasn’t good enough to be their friend in good times, but she definitely appears to be good enough when they need to use her.  Nevertheless… word is … Oprah said, “No!”

Does this now mean that Oprah is a racist, too?

Definitely, I don’t believe Obama had a chance of beating Hillary, much less go on to become president.  Oprah helped make it happen.  Guess she found out what is behind all that rhetoric and it wasn’t a pleasant surprise!

I’m still wondering.  You think Oprah saying, “No!” to the Obama makes her a racist like everyone else that doesn’t agree with him or do his bidding?  Well, I guess it doesn’t matter.  What matters is that she helped elect him president and her reward was a big snub!  It tells us a great deal about the man and his wife in the White House!

I thought about writing about today’s events…

redundancyI thought about writing about today’s political events, but quickly realized it would be redundant.  Anyone following the happenings of this current life-mess read it all yesterday or perhaps even several weeks ago.  Oh… yes… there are a few technicalities that might have changed, but the outcome is right back where it started.

Radical liberals are still calling other people names, while whining if they think they’ve been called one.

We have the radical liberals deciding the Confederate flag is a statement of the Tea Party, Republicans & Senator Ted Cruz attitude, but the OFA thinks it is unfair to suggest they are less than sensitive to the disabled after having a sign that says, “Tea-Tards”.  (Like we don’t get the reference to the term – retards.)

Oh, and then there are those radical liberal writers that suggest Tea Party members have all these characteristics that are quite unproven?  Does truth matter at all to the radical liberal?

But it’s all a mess.

One moment it looks like progress is being made.

Never mind.

Then there is ole Harry Reid… you know… the senator that wrongly threw out a rumor during the election year and hoped it would stick?  Harry Reid is blocking any effort the House makes to try to provide funding, yet then tries to blame the Republicans for the failure to fund?

Oh how delicious is that?

The constant is Obama with his rhetoric and wrongful descriptions as he always blames someone — anyone — except Obama!

On and on we go… where we stop… no one knows!  But stop we should!  Stop we must! It’s time to bring sanity back into government and into our lives.  After all, we really aren’t their little zombies, unless we allow ourselves to be.

Time to pay attention!

Time to use our own minds! — the ones not cluttered with irrational thoughts!

As for writing about today’s events — never mind — tomorrow is soon enough!

Divide & Conquer: A Statement We Desperately Need to Remember

divided we fallDivide and conquer is what an organized enemy does before going in for the win.  It’s perhaps time that “we” take note of what has been happening in our world.  We have been divided and we are being defeated at every turn.  “We” meaning all of us that are not on the elite pedestal of exemption.  “We”, the ones who will be first to feel the results of this run-away train of arrogance, ignorance and lack of empathy for all but their special and chosen groups of whom — “we” are not a member, nor ever shall be.

People are stepping forward and letting it be known that they do not want ObamaCare as it now exists.  The voices are not only ignored, but to listen to the MSM, and speeches from Obama down to his lowest communication agent — the citizens are instead quite elated.  It’s those bad Republicans that are trying to do mean and dirty things.  Just who is it that is not living in reality?  Perhaps they hope we will believe it is us, rather than they.  And truthfully… if they are able to isolate us — so we can’t or won’t compare notes — they have a very real chance of creating their illusion and presenting it as authentic.  That should give one a shiver or two.

Racism does still exist today, just as sexism does.  However, it isn’t as it once was.  It isn’t the dominate trend — it is the exception.  However, there are those who stoke the fires and attempt to make everything about racism or sexism or whatever other “ism” necessary, so as to create an illusion of victimhood that can be utilized to herd the targeted person or group towards whatever belief and action is beneficial to the agitators goal.

Sadly, too many fall for the scam and eagerly follow to whatever hate and discontent they were assigned to be a part of.  Yes, assigned to.

Can any actually believe this chaos simply happened on it’s own?

We must remember that the enemy strives to divide so they might easily conquer.

Our world, as it now is, is being driven and directed for the benefit of someone, or someones, who definitely are not looking out for the best interest of “We the People”.  Whoever these specific people are — they have proven to be masters of deception, division and defection.  Their mastery is our threat — our realization is theirs.

Divide & Conquer —  A Statement We Desperately Need to Remember!

Stop Trying to Deal Me Into Your Card Game

ace of heartsAll these racism and discriminations claims have gotten a bit old and I truly wish people would stop trying to deal me in.  I don’t want to play and I’m not gonna play.  Can I make it any clearer than that?

The other day I referred to “rude & lewd in public”.  It was immediately assumed I was referring to homosexuals.  Does this mean that deep-down, the accuser feels the homosexuals’ behavior is (or is often) “rude & lewd” or did the person immediately have a memory flash of seriously “rude & lewd in public” by some from the homosexual activists of the world?  Either way, I don’t care what was behind the accusation — the accuser was way off base.

When I say “rude & lewd in public”, I am specifically referring to people — anyone — who acts “rude & lewd in public”.  If I am referring specifically to homosexuals ONLY acting “rude & lewd in public”, I will be very clear about who I am referring to.  There won’t be any need to assume or guess or make false accusations.  I will say it outright, plain and clear, because I have nothing to hide about my reactions.  They are reasonable.  Yes, I said — reasonable.

In other words:  I do not like nor appreciate being exposed to “rude & lewd”.  There are no exceptions.  “Rude & lewd” is “rude & lewd”, no matter who the participants are.  It’s that simple.

I do not base my likes and dislikes upon the color of a person’s skin or their sexual orientation.  I base it upon the person’s attitude and behavior.  My life proves this to be so.  No Harry Reid or Al Sharpton types can change the truth — they can only change the perception in the minds of people who often don’t think for themselves or are to quick to react to the emotional game so often played upon them.

In the past, I have tried to rationally respond to false allegations, but those days are numbered, if not absolutely done with.

You want to call me a racist — you prove it!  I have no obligation to prove your lie to be a lie.

You want to say that I have somehow discriminated against anyone — you better get some creative writers on your team.  You might even need a teleprompter or two.  Yes, and you might even need some Botox remover to get rid of the “give-away” smile — you sly one, you.

Life can be a wondrous thing.

People can be happy.

Neighbors can enjoy each other.

Family, friends & neighbors can readily be there for one another.

All these things can be, unless we allow “self-serving” activists to continue to divide us with their distortions and lies and expensive public relations campaigns and/or media opportunities.

To falsely accuse people of discrimination is no different than being discriminated against.  It is one and the same — just done differently.  Both are wrong.

People need to take a step back and really take a good look at this world and what is happening in it.  They need to think about the cards dealt to them and do some weighing in on who is truly responsible for things that have happened and are happening that just aren’t right.

I guess the short of my story is…

Maybe more people ought to take notice of the stacked deck and decide that they don’t want to be dealt into the irrational game thrown at us.

Maybe more people ought to take note and decide not to play into the hands of the activists and wanna-bee dictators that seem to love to toy with us all and try to isolate us from one another.

Maybe… just maybe… we ought to throw in the hand they dealt us and start with a fresh deck — one that isn’t tainted and slanted and stacked against us — US — We the People!

Embarrassed Yet: The People Want to Know

eagle blueWell, Congress, many things have been left up to you as representatives of “We the People”.  Sadly, many of you did it your way in spite of all the outcries and questions that loomed right in front of you.  The people weren’t smart enough.  The people weren’t aware of all the facts.  The people were over-reacting.  The politics and political careers out-weighed any of the bad stuff the people might be enduring.  And that is only a portion of it all and many of you know it.

It is to the many of you that I address this…

You are in Washington, DC and you didn’t know (or believe) the IRS was targeting the Tea Party or Christian groups?

You didn’t know about the New Black Panthers intimidating voters and that it was ignored?

You didn’t have a clue about Fast & Furious?

You didn’t know that video line was a hoax, when an excuse was thrown out there for the Benghazi attack and the failure to act?

You didn’t know about the spying on journalists?

You didn’t know about problems with NSA, until Snowden announced it to the world?

You didn’t know that Holder was held in contempt?

You didn’t know the president wrongly inserted himself into the Professor Gates & Trayvon Martin cases, stirring racial tension?

You didn’t know that no one was allowed to disagree with the president or his administration least they be called racist?

You didn’t know that Sandy Hook — a tragedy — was utilized for political gain and an attempt to gun grab?

You didn’t know that people were bragging about having voted more than once?

You didn’t know that Henry Reid campaigned against Romney with an untruth when he claimed the candidate hadn’t paid taxes?

Where were you that you didn’t know these and other things that happened on your watch?

The world has been watching.

The world has been paying attention.

The world has been wondering at your lack of integrity and backbone.

Are you embarrassed yet?

You should be!

When the Information was Wrong: The Inaccurate Public Conviction of George Zimmerman

George Zimmerman's Great-Grandfather

George Zimmerman’s Great-Grandfather

On February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida, life ended for one young man and life forever changed for many more. There is no turning back. There are no second chances. A young man is dead and another young man faces the results of decisions they both made that day.

While we can’t take back how things played out with the Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman encounter or anything that led up to those final moments of life-death changing events, we do have a responsibility of calling the media, our president, Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Black Panthers and a few others to account for their irresponsible responses, reporting and race baiting behavior thereafter.

Turns out that, Zimmerman, the “white Hispanic”, is not only nearly as Black in heritage as our president, if not completely so — he was raised under the influence of a half-black grandmother, rather than, a white grandma as Obama was.

Well, who would have thought such to be a possibility while listening to the original reports of it all?

It appears the president and Al & buddies didn’t.

Amazing how some major players of race-baiting have all run from the story, or so it seems.

The media being so irresponsible as to unjustly inflame, is beyond belief.

It used to be that the media sought out the truth and facts, but in the Martin-Zimmerman case, didn’t we see video that supposedly suggested that Zimmerman was not injured, when in fact he was?

Haven’t we often heard that Zimmerman “disobeyed” the dispatcher, when, in fact, the tape has the dispatcher saying something to the effect, “We don’t need you to do that.” and Zimmerman calmly responding, “Okay.” Yes, haven’t we heard that conversation followed by lack of heavy breathing… meaning that Zimmerman was neither running after ,nor walking swiftly, after anyone.? Yet, that bit of misinformation suggesting that Zimmerman disobeyed the dispatcher continues to follow the story. Why?

I can only suppose the “why’s”!

Without there being racism and racial profiling, this may have merely been a tragic story that was nothing more than a misunderstanding between two people. A story that might have been reported briefly and stuffed into the history files of all the other sad things that have happened to people more often than we would like to think. That’s what it could have been. But none of those possibilities mattered as Al Sharpton, the president and all those others jumped in and made a bad situation even worse.

Let’s not forget NBC’s edited version of the 911 tape that makes it appear that Zimmerman is saying that he is suspicious of Martin, because the teenager is black. The tape was edited. That ISN’T how the conversation went. Yet, people are still relying upon that bogus version and holding George Zimmerman guilty because of it.

How does NBC plan on remedying the wrongful results that rest with their wrongful actions?

Once a lie or bad information is out there, it is out there. Some will consider the original information to be gospel and refuse to consider any thought word or deed that counters the holy words of the first to speak and report. Of course, how hard do those reporters, agencies or officials try to correct their original misinformation and even outright lies? Do they repeat their misdeeds and misreporting every few minutes such as they repeat the sensationalized story headlines they create?

When the Information was Wrong: The Inaccurate Public Conviction of George Zimmerman

I’d be embarrassed if…

embarrassedI’d be quite embarrassed if I woke up one morning and realized that what I thought and was thinking and believed was actually what someone else decided I should be thinking and believing.

I’d be quite embarrassed if I couldn’t think rationally or detect truth from fiction though the evidence was right in front of me and left no room for doubt.

I’d be embarrassed if I couldn’t think for myself or employ the concept of simple problem solving that didn’t involve possible plans for government takeover of even replacing the toilet paper in private bathrooms.

I’d be quite embarrassed if I couldn’t review information and give it a chance to be what it is, rather than what I perceived it to be due to being programmed to think as “one” with all other “thought clones“.

Yes, I would be embarrassed if I woke up one morning and found myself to have been indoctrinated into believing the propaganda of the liars.

Yet, I watch all these people on televison and the internet proudly following the lies as though the lies are the gospel truth.  And then… and then… they — the “thought clones” — have the gall to call others (who don’t blindly follow & still use their own brains) stupid and idiots and racists and intolerant and haters and whatever other bully-like term they can think of (or is thought of for them and sent via the talking points memo).

Yes, I’d be totally embarrassed if I gave up reality and my ability to process thoughts and information.

Maybe there is a good reason why I would be embarrassed and the “thought clones” aren’t.  Maybe it’s because I can still see and respond to reality, while they gave it up for progressivism and the fulfillment of the Animal Farm and 1984 prophecy!

The “So-Called” Racist Word List that Makes Me “Angry”

This world went totally nuts while many of us apparently weren’t looking closely enough!

I’ve been in job related positions where people had to be identified by race per the rules, and every person in the same job as me, no matter their race, followed the race defining requirement as well.  It certainly wasn’t my idea, nor single race activity or focus.  We all checked the appropriate box to acknowledge “everyone’s” race, no matter what it was with no regard to what ours was.

You see… it had to do with necessary race-facts  — not race insults, but I bet there are some who would try to say differently, because they think the entire world and every breath taken revolves around race (racism) and gender (sexism), rich and poor and whose got the best car or dresses the finest, and lives in the urban area or maybe the suburbs, owns a company or belongs to a union and follows Obama or follows anything not Pelosi-like.

People can believe differently and still not be racists or sexists or radicals from either side.  They can actually be mere people with opinions.  Opinions that might actually make sense or spark a fantastic idea,  if allowed to be voiced and not immediately yelled down or ignored or called racist or sexist ideas and comments as too often it appears the Pelosi & Chris Matthews’ side does to anyone not in line perfectly with their opinions.

“Angry” is a racist word?  Really?!?!?  What fantasy world did that come from?

Not agreeing with Obama, as Chris Matthews’ has the tingle up his leg, is being racist?  Give me a break.  What is it then when I don’t agree with John McCainMcCainism or is it that I simply don’t agree with John McCain?

People need to step back and see how ridiculous things have become and decide enough is enough.

Get angry (racist according to some) and say, this is it.  Let’s start acting like intelligent adults and stop with the childish games, name calling and bullying.  Let’s protect the books, our history and our integrity, and burn the “so-called” racist word list instead.  It is, after all, about as important and reliable as a tingle up Chris Matthews’ leg anyways.

The Allegations of Racism

Earlier, I read a column suggesting that Republicans are racist.  I became quite annoyed.  Okay, I became far more than annoyed at the careless allegations being so freely and wrongly thrown around for what appeared to be a self-serving motive to promote Democrats and demonize Republicans.

I have known a great many Democrats and Republicans in my life.  Never do I knowingly associate with racists no matter what skin shade they might happen to be, because I don’t like racists.  Never have and never will.  And, contrary to the opinion of the author of the piece that annoyed me so, the majority of racists I have ever known have been Democrats, not Republicans.  That’s right!  Democrats.

The difference between that author and me is that I don’t assume all Democrats are made out of a single mold, nor do I think Republicans are either.  Libs on the other hand, I’m not so sure about.  Their craziness seems to come from a singular mindset and no one knows what they are going to come up with next.

Back to racism though.

The Democrats are the ones that started up the KKK and encouraged what was to become Planned Parenthood, not for the good of women, but to get rid of as many of the unacceptables as they could.  The KKK didn’t like Blacks or Catholics or Jews or anyone who supported any who were.  So, just how can people now claim the Democrats are not racists and trying to protect the Blacks from the mean ole Republicans?  You know, the Republicans that fought for Civil Rights and such as the Democrats fought against it.

Some true history needs to be read, rather than simply reading these outlandish claims that are anything but representative of the truth.

Authors such as the one I am referring to, can propaganda it all they want, but it’s not our obligation to believe these horrendous fables simply because they do.  It is our obligation to seek out the truth and be willing to accept it once it is found.

Just like it is a lie that Republicans are trying to take away women’s contraceptives, it is a lie that they, as a group, are racists.

Public Relations is meant to sway people to think and act in a particular way.  Propaganda is PR on steroids, with no concern about truth in advertising.  It is meant, or most often used, to promote a known lie and to obtain a goal by whatever means is necessary.

False accusations of racism against the Republicans (as a whole) are just that.  It is propaganda.  It’s a known lie.  That is something that should matter to us all.  It’s time to say, “No more!  No more lies!”
